Ingredients:
- 12 fresh jalapeños, halved & seeded
- 1–2 cups Tri-State Cheese Curds
(Campfire Pizza or White Curds) - 12 slices bacon (cut in half)
- Optional: cream cheese (for extra creamy filling)
Instructions:
- Preheat grill to medium heat (~375°F).
- Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
- Fill each half with cheese curds (mix with cream cheese if using).
- Wrap each popper with half a slice of bacon.
- Place on grill over indirect heat.
- Cook 20–25 minutes, turning occasionally, until bacon is crispy and cheese is melted.
Tips:
- Secure bacon with toothpicks if needed
- For less heat, remove all seeds and membranes
- Oven option: 400°F for ~20 minutes
