Tri-State Curd Jalapeño Poppers

Ingredients:

  • 12 fresh jalapeños, halved & seeded
  • 1–2 cups Tri-State Cheese Curds
    (Campfire Pizza or White Curds)
  • 12 slices bacon (cut in half)
  • Optional: cream cheese (for extra creamy filling)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat (~375°F).
  2. Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
  3. Fill each half with cheese curds (mix with cream cheese if using).
  4. Wrap each popper with half a slice of bacon.
  5. Place on grill over indirect heat.
  6. Cook 20–25 minutes, turning occasionally, until bacon is crispy and cheese is melted.

Tips:

  • Secure bacon with toothpicks if needed
  • For less heat, remove all seeds and membranes
  • Oven option: 400°F for ~20 minutes
